The Galaxy Note 4 may no longer be the talk of the town now that Note 7 has made its strong footing. However, Samsung has not forsaken its users and is rolling out Galaxy Note 4 update across Europe for unlocked models.The latest update comes with optimizations from Samsung, including the latest August security patches from Google. This month’s security update by Google is reportedly the fix for 3 out 4 major QuadRooter vulnerabilities.The latest Galaxy Note 4 update for European users comes with firmware version XXS1DPH1, and brings a set of security fixes from Samsung. As highlighted by Samsung on their security blog, the latest security patches for its devices will fix several vulnerabilities.A major vulnerability, which allows malware to be installed if SideSync app is activated before Setup Wizard, is being fixed with this update. If you are eligible for the latest Galaxy Note 4 update, expect a notification in a couple of days.To manually look for the update, check for any available update for your Samsung device by heading over to Settings->About phone->Software update->Check for updates.
