With the new month beginning, OEM Android manufacturers are working on bringing the September security update to their top devices. In the meantime, a Verizon update for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge is rolling out right now.
The latest update from Verizon brings several bug fixes and enhancements such as HD Voice improvement. Moreover, the major US carrier is also bringing FM Radio and Barcode Beaming for UPC codes with the latest update.
“This software update provides HD Voice performance improvements, and new Galaxy features, such as support for NextRadio and Barcode Beaming for UPC codes.

The latest Verizon update for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge comes with software version VRU2APG5. If you are among the eligible Verizon users, expect the latest update to reach you in a couple of days.
