Following the beta update was released by BlackBerry for the Priv, the BlackBerry DTEK50 beta update is rolling out. This seems to be the first beta update out for BlackBerry DTEK50 users who are a part of the BlackBerry Beta Zone program.
Similar to the Android Beta Program, BlackBerry Beta Zone enabled users to pilot-test the latest features and optimizations ahead of the public release. Needless to say, the OTA update notification will only be visible only to the Beta Zone users.
Unlike the BlackBerry Priv beta update, DTEK50 beta update is rolling out worldwide for all Beta Zone users. Weighing in with a file size of 435MB, this first BlackBerry DTEK50 beta update comes with build number AAG326.

Similar to the Priv, users have reported that this update also brings up the security patch level of the device to September 6. BlackBerry had announced last month that it would be the first OEM to patch QuadRooter vulnerabilities, and they have delivered.
If you are a part of the BlackBerry Beta Zone program, expect the update to reach your device in a couple of days. You can also check for the updates by opening the phone dialer and entering *#*#CHECKIN#*#*.
Wait for the success notification to show up and then head over to the Settings app for the latest BlackBerry DTEK50 beta update. Do keep us posted on what else this beta update brings to your DTEK50 apart from the September security update.
