Samsung Galaxy Note 5 users in India should soon be able to view and install the latest update from their manufacturer. The latest firmware update for Note 5 is a monthly security update from the month of July, which has finally made its way to the Indian subcontinent. This current firmware update is based on the security patch released by Google for Android on July 1. While most carriers and manufacturers around the world rolled out the update within a fortnight, the Note 5 July security update is finally available (in August) for Indian users. Google released a follow-up on July 5, which is not included in the current release. The build number of the latest Note 5 July security update is N920GUBU2BPG1 with a file size of 85MB. If you’re among the Indian users receiving latest update, find the notification for “Software Update” on the notification drawer. You can also manually check for the update by heading over to Settings->About phone->Software update->Check for updates.
