February Updates Focusing on Bug Fixes are Out; However, the Complaints Are Still not 100% Answered

Recently, Google started rolling out a new variant of update for its Pixel devices with promising bug fixing abilities. This firmware packs the Feb 2022 Android security patch and hits the shore, dating back even for the Pixel 3a devices. Although nothing major, Pixel users will get improved Bluetooth support optimized audio playback, alongside security fixes of all sorts.

As per Google's community page Tweets, the recent OTA claims to resolve issues on the Pixel 6 or 6 Pro who previously complained about encountering an uneven reboot triggering when they tend to launch the camera. Also, the Pixel 4, 4 XL, 4a 5G, and 5 devices that sheltered signal issues on C Spire and Cellcom will see an end post update. Apart from that, all the affected Pixels with issues causing the keyboard to display over the inputted text are now fixed.

However, the user complains still don't seem like resting a bit. The new trouble revolves around the Wi-Fi that automatically turns off in the background after a few minutes of usage. What it does is prevents the concerned device from auto-connecting to the known and nearby Wi-Fi networks. The same has reportedly affected the working facilities of Bluetooth. It will now be interesting to see how long Google takes to address those.

Do you own any of the update eligible Pixel smartphones and still waiting for the new firmware? Well, in that case, you can manually pull the update by launching Settings followed by System and then System Update.

2020 Launched Moto G Pro Becomes Company's First Device to Receive Android 12
