Verizon is one of the largest carriers in North America. Today, they made official the Android 4.4 KitKat for another Samsung device. The source is Android Central. They declared that Verizon rolled out the update for Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Note 3 is currently the phablet flagship of Samsung. It uses Kies software. The update will be installed through Verizon Upgrade Assistant, meaning that you must connect your device to a computer to proceed to the update. However, the over-the-air rollout shouldn't be far !This new update will probably bring the features that we are used to from Kitkat 4.4.  In the list of features there are: faster performance and better battery power life, the new white status bar icon, full screen album art while the music is playing. One of the coolest updates is the camera shortcut on the lockscreen. Also, it comes with better RAM management, options to set SMS and launcher apps and not at least stability improvements. So, the first thing to do is to install Kies, available on PC and Mac. After this you can install the new update of Android on your Note 3.If you install it, tell us what you think about it.
