Since the Android Developer Preview 2 was released a few weeks ago, it seemed like the only Nexus missing out on the fun was the Nexus Player. However, users of the device can now download the factory images here for the Nexus Player model number NPC910.

Google has fulfilled their promise of releasing updated Android N previews in the months following their launch of the initial preview of Android N, back in March this year. Now that Android N Preview 2 has landed, links for the download have been made available.

The new developer will bring among others, api improvements, launcher shortcuts, and bug fixes. For more details on this latest Android N Dev Preview 2 click here. If you are interested in trying out this update, you will need to register your Nexus for the Android Beta Program to receive the OTA on your device.

What's my model number?

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
