A new report confirms metal casing for future Samsung Galaxy S5

A new report in the Taiwanese media confirms the latest rumors regarding the possibility of using metal casing for the Galaxy S5. The idea has been speculated for a long while now and Samsung is somewhat in the corner with this issue. People are getting tired of plastic. However metal casings are more expensive and harder to work with, so this would be in Samsung’s disadvantage.

However according to the report, Taiwanese manufacturer Catcher will provide the first 10 to 30 million metal cases in the following month, with two other companies BYD and Ju Teng to provide the rest. Take this as it is, just speculation, for now.
