poza1Androidauthority.com announced that Eldar Murtazin, a well-known blogger, tweeted that the new Galasy S5 will be launched on 23th of February, ahead of MWC 2014 Barcelona. Murtazin also claims that the new S5 will be in stores by the end of April 2014.

There is no way to verify if the blogger is right, but we must say that he predicted the launch date of the Galaxy S4 almost to the day, in 2013, which gives a little bit of credibility to his sayings.

This year, there were a lot of rumors about the S5 launch. On January 2nd, the Korean media stated that someone from Samsung said off the record that the launch will be around MWC. Samsung officials didn’t say a thing. On January 9, another official said on the record that the launch will be till the end of April.

Last year, Samsung launched the Note series, ahead of IFA Berlin, so it’s possible that they will launch the S5 ahead of MWC Barcelona, which opens on February 24, 2014. This early launch can steal some thunder from the competitors.

The Russian blogger “announced” the possible specs of Samsung S5: 5.25 inch 2K display, S800, 4 GB RAM. The software will have a different name and it will be evolved from TouchWiz.
