Grant Permissions
In case you are running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or higher, you will have to grant app permissions so that you can access the entire contact list for easy management of your email account.To do that, hit ‘Go Ahead’ when you are prompted, and then tap ‘Allow’ on the popup.
Designate Quiet times
After granting permission, the app starts on your Gmail account, so will need to open a side navigation menu and then choose your work email account. After selecting the account, begin by hitting the ‘Add Rule’ button found at the center of your smartphone’s screen. You will now see a menu that allows you to add your own work schedule.You have to make sure that all the days you work are clearly highlighted in blue. Then set ‘From’ field (that is the time you usually clock in) and ‘To’ field (the time you clock out). This ensures your device only notifies you off work emails while you are actually at work.Furthermore, if you’ve a tight schedule with diverse in and out times, you can hit the ‘Add Rule’ button again and add a second set of conditions.
Make use of your personal time
After setting up everything, you are now good to go. When you are getting off work, you will see a notification say that the work email notification is to be silenced soon. Only the personal email notifications will alert you till the next work day.
