The Marshmallow update started rolling out two weeks ago, but according to many users, it only applied to those living in India. This makes sense since India is the country where the smartphone has sold the hottest.
The global Redmi Note 3 owners have been anticipating for the Android Marshmallow update after being stuck on Android Lollipop since it was launched in March. Fortunately, the global users can now update their OS to Android Marshmallow in a form of a ginormous 1.3GB update. The Update is expected to solve some bugs an issues on the Redmi Note 3.
The other MIUM handsets are expected to Android Nougat in the coming months.
