With so much technology around us, security became an important issue. Our smartphones or tablets became our life, we have all our information there, information which in case it’s lost, it can ruin us.
AV-Test tested in January 30 different security apps for Android, to see which is the best for our devices. Do you want to know which had the biggest score?

The following scored 6 out of 6 for both protection and usability ( highest scores): Kingsoft’s Mobile Security 3.3; Qihoo’s 360 Mobile Security 1.5; Avira’s Free Android Security 3.0; Trend Micro’s Mobile Security 3.5; Bitdefender’s Mobile Security 2.6; KSMobile’s Clean Master 4.0; TrustGo’s Mobile Security 1.3; KSMobile’s CM Security 1.0; McAfee’s Mobile Security 3.1; and G Data’s Internet Security 25.0. The apps from G Data and Trend Micro also offered all of the important security features except two.
AV-Test had in mind two aspects: basic protection and usability. If the app score was maximum it meant 6 from 6. The report also had a features column where there were information about different protection features that the apps had or had not.
Google says that it is not important to have such apps on your phone, due to the fact that the soft is safe. But we suggest that if you want to install or buy an app take a look in AV-Test Report. It should definitively help you in the process.
