Moto G6 and E5 lineups announced
Motorola has just unveiled the Moto G6, G6 Plus, and G6 Play, along with the cheaper Moto E5, E5 Plus, and E5 Play.
All six of these handsets have taken on a similar form factor to that of the Moto X4 from last year. We have sleek curves, glass front and back, along with dual-cameras on the G-series.
The Moto G6 Play will be priced at $199, while the G6 will start at $249. Motorola confirmed that the G6 Plus will not make its way to the US.
As for the pricing of the E-series lineup, Motorola stopped short, but we know they’ll be significantly cheaper than the G-series judging by the limited specs.
Honor 10 introduced
It almost seems like Huawei has been revealing new devices on a weekly basis of late. It’s sub-brand has just unveiled the Honor 10, which looks to be the little brother of the Huawei P20 lineup.
The phone sports a 5.84-inch display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080. Powering the Honor 10 is the same Kirin 970 chipset, you’ll find in Huawei flagships, and it’s been coupled here with 6GB of RAM and a 3,400mAh battery.
Unfortunately, it seems this device will only launch in China for the time being. If it were to come to the US, the price could be rather compelling at around $400.
Samsung folding smartphone rumored for 2019
A new report claims that Samsung will be gearing up to launch its first foldable smartphone next year. Production is slated to begin in November, before being unveiled early in 2019.
It’s unknown whether this new handset will become the Galaxy S10. Although it is not outside the realm of possibility, after seeing Apple completely overhaul its flagship offering with the introduction of the iPhone X.
Google Voice and Sprint integration coming to an end
Sprint and Google have announced that integration with Google Voice will be ceasing on June 1st. Google detailed a few of the reasons for this, one of which surrounded changes to Sprint’s network.
