Being an older and sub-premium smartphone, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be the last major update for Galaxy A7. The latest update for the European variant of Galaxy A7 brings it up to version number XXU2BPH4, while the update file size is around 1GB.
Apart from all the features that are known to come with Marshmallow, the update also brings optimizations and a TouchWiz update. Users report that the latest update brings the Galaxy A7 and Galaxy S6 together with a similar UI.
