As summer approaches, more speculation and rumors are swirling around before the release of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Below is a roundup of recent and latest expectations on the Galaxy Note 5, including rumored released date, pricing and specs.

So far has been successful with the launch of its latest flagships, the Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6. Now pundits and consumers are waiting for the anticipated release of the Galaxy Note 5. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 that was released on September 2014 was the most successful Sammy’s Galaxy Note Edge, its companion; Galaxy Note Edge came with a curved display on one side.

The specs of the Note 5 are yet to be confirmed since Samsung is still on the testing stage. According to rumors, the Note 5 has an upgraded Ultra HD or quad-HD display, Exynos processor & new camera features which include exposure controls that a similar to those of Apple’s most recent iPhones.

Some of the reports and rumors in last month indicated a late July release, however, Samsung has squashed the rumor, now the credible rumors about the release date are centered on September. The Unveiling is expected to be held at IFA in Berlin.

Leaked model numbers for the handset in US indicate that AT&T and Verizon are to carry the device. This isn’t a surprise since the networks carry the Note series along with T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Sprint. The price of the Note 5 is unclear but it is expected to start at $299.99 with a 2 year contract.
