After recently discovering that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Mega series in June or July and after the release of the Galaxy Mega 6.3 Kernel source, Samsung gives us another good news. The first firmware for Mega 5.8 is available on Samsung's servers and available for us through Sammobile. The firmware was released firstly for India, carrying Android 4.2.2 build JDQ39 and PDA I9152XXUAME9. Thanks to this, developers can start working on creating Custom ROMs and mods for the device. You can download firmware XXUAME9 from here - Download I9152XXUAME9_I9152ODDAME7_INU.zip. This will be helpful if you ever want to install the official firmware once more in order to lose root or to replace a Custom ROM. Galaxy Meha 5.8 will have a Dual-Core 1.4 GHz CPU with 1.5 GB of RAM. The camera will be an 8MP one with a 2 MP front camera. Luckily it comes with the latest Android version, 4.2.2 featuring Samsung's Nature UX 2.0 UI with some of Galaxy S4's cool features probably installed.
