There is time from when ru some mors came on the market that Samsung is developing a device that will compete Google Glass. Today some information were leaked saying that the Korean manufacturer will launch Samsung Gear Glass at IFA in September. The thing is that this device will be launched alongside Note 4, a rumor that was also present in the past. This make sense, launching the new Glass  alongside the company’s phablet flagship, as they launched the first smartwatch with  Note 3.

Also, the source says that the device will use Tizen software, as Gear 2 and Gear Neo are using. We don’t know much information about Samsung Glass, but we know that Samsung has applied for some quite patent for smart glasses. The last patent is suggesting that Samsung Glass could be very different from Google Glass, as it seems that will incorporate a Bluetooth earpiece and a head display.

Some time ago, a Samsung official declared that they aren’t very interested in smart glasses, as these type of devices makes people cyborgs and this is something they don’t want. But looking at the patents they are developing it seems other way.
