Android fans, more so gaming buffs, have something else to be happy about. Blizzard’s addictive digital card game, popularly known as Hearthstone, is available for play on Android tabs. A lot of the people who’ve been playing this game have seen it on the iOS and on PCs, but it’s a new thing in Android circles. Well, since it’s a cool game that has been optimized for the touchscreen experience, this is definitely something Android smartphone users might want to pay attention to.
Currently, the rollout for Hearthstone for Android has already started, with the game already available on the Google Play Store for gamers from Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Just like with the first release for most other popular games introduced to Android, gamers from the rest of the world will have to wait, just not so long. Blizzard promises that the release for the same game will be available to gamers from the rest of the world in the coming few days. There are also plans to make it available on the Amazon apps store for Kindle Fire device owners.
With this classic digital card game, Android users will be able to enjoy all the content Hearthstone features elsewhere, including Goblins vs Gnomes and Curse of Naxxramas. Anyone endeavoring on a match via and Android device will get a free pack of classic cards, so there is no reason to wait.
Unfortunately though, not all Android tabs will be supported by this release. You’ll squarely need a tab with a screen bigger than 6” and over 1GB of RAM. More so, Hearthstone will just work on tablets running Android 4.0 or higher. Smartphone users are also out of the equation. But as Blizzard makes the game downloadable worldwide, they’ll probably also consider smartphone releases. We’ll keep you posted.
