A powered up version of the popular Samsung smartphone, Galaxy Express, was announced on October 22 2013 by Samsung to be sold exclusively in the United Kingdom in Vodafone UK stores. The device will be called Galaxy Express 2 and will be available for sale starting with October 23. Other retailers will have the device in the upcoming period.
According to Samsung, the new Galaxy Express 2 will have a 1.7 GHz dual core processor with a 4.5 inch display, all of this running on Android 4.2. It will also have 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, a micro SD slot and a 2100mAh battery. It is also mentioned that the new device will have some of Samsung’s proprietary software functions such as Smart Stay and Group Play. The new Express will also come with S Travel, Story Album and S Translator pre-installed. These 3 last features make the device the perfect gadget to take when going on a trip to another country.
Galaxy Express 2 will be available in two colors: Ceramic White and Rigel Blue.
