In an attempt to prove superiority over rivals from Samsung, the people at LG have put to the test their top device with Samsung’s top device: Optimus G vs. Samsung Galaxy S3. If LG wins this battle it will be a great win that can push LG a little higher.

The two devices both use a 2100 mAh battery and have been tested head to head in a talking on the phone, making videos contest. the results are the following:

LG: 15.8h talking on the phone, 3.8h video recording, 7.9h video playing

Samsung: 9.5h talking on the phone, 2.8h video recording, 7.3h video playing

As you can see, the Optimus G smashed the Galaxy S3 for good in this test. According to LG, both phones were tested in the same conditions(50% backlight, LG Upuls network). To increase the trust in the test, LG tested the devices in front of reporters at an event.

According the them, this was not an attack towards rivals from Samsung, rather than a simple test to prove what their device is capable of. Of course, beating the Galaxy S3 on the road is a pretty nice reward.
