Samsung is preparing to roll out the new Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, which will be shipped globally starting with Taiwan in March. The device will be available in blue or pink variants. It will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and will run on TouchWiz with a few custom apps. A nice feature will be “Kid Mode” with which you can partially password protect your content allowing limited access for kids. The device will come with a 3 month free subscription to Mag V Kids, an educational and entertainment app for children.
The new Galaxy Tab 3 Lite will feature a number of exclusive games. The “Kid Mode” feature will come with a software update somewhere around May. Tab 3 Lite has a7 inch display with a 1024×600 resolution. It also has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory and a microSD slot up to 32 GB. The CPU is a 1.2 GHz dual-core “plugged in” at a3 600 mAh battery. Galaxy tab 3 Lite comes with a 2 MP back camera that can shoot images and videos. This variant has WI-FI connectivity via 802.11b/g/n.
