There were rumors in the previous week that the Note 5 was making appearances in India. Today, Samsung has launched the handset in that country.
The Note 5 comes in two variants, the 64GB and 32GB at Rs. 59,900 ($935) and Rs. 53,900 ($840) price tags respectively. The Galaxy Note 5 will be availed for purchase from 20th September. The devices will start selling in the silver, gold and black color options.

The device features a new glass back and a new metal body, It is equipped with QHD AMOLED 5.7-inch display, an Exynos 7420 SoC octa-core, a 16 megapixels rear camera, a 3000mAh battery and 4GB of RAM.
Samsung stated that the Note 5 model sold in India were manufactured in that country.
