Xiaomi Mi4C is one of the newest smartphones powered by Android from the Xiaomi Chinese company. It also happens to be the latest addition to the Mi4c family, with powerful features such as polycarbonate build quality, 5-inch Full HD screen, a 3 GB RAM, Snapdragon 808 processing power, USB Type-C connector. Presently, the Mi4C handset runs on Xiaomi’s Android-based MIUI 7 firmware which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Early this month, Xiaomi rolled out the MIUI 7.1 update to the Mi4c, which is its latest update since its release. The update weighing at 663 MB was available for download via the company’s official update page, brought a wide range of improvements as well as a ton of bug fixes, all of which were detailed in their MIUI forum.

However, just recently an Android Marshmallow based MIUI version was revealed to be in its developmental stages already. An image was leaked showing a Xiaomi MIUI update screenshot with 5.12.24 build number running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. It is not yet clear when Xiaomi will release the Android 6.0 update, but it has been confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi4c is slated to be among the first devices to attain the OTA update.
