Motorola has recently disclosed that their testing and building of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is finally complete for their Moto X Pure (Style) Edition 2015 phones for users in the U.S.Users of the Moto X Pure Edition 3rd generation on Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and US cellular networks in the U.S. should check their devices to confirm if they have received the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The upgrade will be available through an over-the-air software update.The full roll out for the Android Marshmallow update on the 3rd generation 2015 Moto X Pure Edition comes after soak tests and trials were run on Moto X Force (2015) and Moto X Play for users in Brazil and India respectively, to check for and fix any bugs on the Marshmallow software.Previously, Motorola’s David Schuster had stated that only Moto X Pure Edition (3rd gen) smartphones on the Sprint, Verizon and US cellular will be viable for the rollout. But later on some users on the AT&T network reported that they had received the Android M update. Thereafter, it was revealed that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be deployed to Moto X Pure Edition (3rd gen) 2014 on AT&T. The same device which is also known as the Moto X Style 2015 is currently receiving the Android Marshmallow software for users in Latin America.
