There is a certain excitement to finding hidden games in an app that is essentially not for gaming. From Chrome's hopping dinosaur to Microsoft Excel's flight simulator, most apps have a game or two tucked away somewhere you'd only find unexpectedly. Facebook Messenger is one of these apps, after introducing a chess game, the messaging app has since introduced yet another secret basketball game that won't be so secret if you follow the following steps.Getting in on the action is actually pretty easy. To get started, tap the basketball emoji and send as a message to a friend. Once the message is sent, tap the basketball within the conversation thread to begin a game. Basically a basketball appears at the bottom of the screen, all you need to do is swipe up in order to enter a goal. It will be easy at first but as soon as you reach ten shots consecutively, it will become more challenging as the goal starts moving. If you want to try out the game, know that you'll need to update your Messenger to the latest version to start enjoying this little hidden feature. If basketball isn't your cup of tea, then you can play around with the popular chat service's chess game. Simply type @FBChess in a new message and tap send.Have you tried out Facebook's hidden basketball game? What was your experience? Let us know in the comments.
