Google Play Services constantly crashing:

This can be annoying for users, but can easily be solved by disabling the Google Play Services or factory resetting your handset.

The Nexus 4 constantly switching off even though the battery charge is full:

This problem is mostly related to third party apps, so first ensure that all your installed apps are up to date. If that doesn’t work the next best option is to uninstall apps with battery saving, antivirus or memory boosting functionality, since they may be to blame. If all the above solutions make no difference, perform a factory reset.

The simplest option is to try switching it on and off till it starts working. Reboot your device or router then try to connect again. Another easy fix could be changing Wi-Fi channels especially if the problem still persists.

Apps restarting in the background:

This can be annoying for any user, not only does this suck up your battery juice but it may slow down your device performance. The only simple fix is to restart your Nexus 4 device.

Chrome Tabs look different:

The Google Chrome browser on the newly Lollipop upgrade, saves new tabs on the recent apps list. If you prefer the more familiar look, go to the Google Chrome Setting and un-click the ‘merge tabs and app’ option.

YouTube Stops working:

This simply could be solved by clearing the YouTube Cache. To do this, simply, Go to Settings> Tap on the Apps Option and Choose YouTube. Tap on the Clear Cache, then try again. You still can’t start the YouTube application? Backup your contents then factory reset your device.

Sluggish/ Slow Nexus 4 performance:

Not every user has gotten to enjoy the optimized Nexus 4 upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop. If you are a Nexus 4 user plagued with a slower performance, don’t lose heart, there is a solution for this. Consider clearing both your applications cache and the Android’s system cache, this increases performances due to the fact that it fixes specific problems related to the installed apps as well as wide other system issues on your device.

It is important to note that some issues with new update have been addressed or are yet to be fixed by app developers so if none of this solutions work, make sure you handset is updated or look out for new updates before taking any other action.
