Android Nougat is already a hit among Nexus users worldwide, offering more customizations than ever. Apart from all the new features that have been introduced, Quick Settings in Android Nougat is a well-appreciated upgrade from its predecessor.
The Quick Settings menu has become an integral part of the Android ecosystem, and Nougat takes it one step further. Quick Settings in Android Nougat not only offers more customization but an integrated method to add more tiles to the window easily.
Step 1: New customization with Quick Settings
One of the coolest new additions to Nougat is the mini Quick Settings menu. By sliding down with one finger, you can now access 5 settings right away from the main screen. This mini Quick Settings menu also includes a drop-down arrow to reveal the entire Quick Settings window.

You can also simply swipe down the Quick Settings in Android Nougat to reveal the entire window, just like you would in Marshmallow or Lollipop. You can also swipe from right to left to reveal other settings option directly from the Quick Settings menu.
Step 2: Add tiles to Quick Settings
Just like Android Marshmallow, you can edit the Quick Settings and add more settings to the menu. Simply press “Edit” on the bottom of the window and drag the tiles at the bottom to where you want to place them in the menu.
The first 5 slots in your Quick Settings are the ones that appear in the mini-menu when you slide down with one finger. So if you want to add a specific shortcut to the mini-menu, place it among the first five tiles in the Quick Settings menu.
