After you rooting your Samsung Galaxy S5 device, the first thing you may be considering is installing a custom ROM that would improve your phone in terms of performance and the overall functionality of your phone. Custom ROMs are designed for this purpose, with most featuring a ton of features that would have otherwise missed on your stocked manufacturer’s software. It is important to remember that custom ROMs should only be installed on already rooted devices and by someone who has the necessary experience to do so. There are a variety of custom ROMs developed to give the Galaxy S5 an enhanced Android user experience, but which are the best?
1. CyanogenMod 12 Android 5.0.2 Lollipop
If you an Android fanatic, you’ve come across the CyanogenMod custom ROM at least a few times. Cyanogen ROM tops the list as one of the most known custom ROMs. It is developed from stock Android, easy to customize and the most stable of all custom ROMs. With every new Android version update released, Cyanogen developers follow up with their own ROM update to the latest version. In most cases a custom ROM is already made available even before the official update is released.
