Google Home is intelligent
Google was built as a hub information available in the world. This information is accessible with a quick search. On the other hand, we all know that Amazon is no search giant.
Thanks to voice and quick search. Google Home has a great advantage when it comes to intelligence. Amazon Echo also has its tech behind it, but it does not have the data.
Google Home has a better design
Google Home does look better than Amazon’s Echo. It is also more compact than the Echo and has a more innovative design. Furthermore, the smaller the size the easier it is to display. The sloped top on the Google Home is also a nice touch. You can also customize its design by swapping the bottom speaker grill with different colors. The Amazon’s Echo is just plain white or black cylinder. It is not nearly as impressive as Google Home.
Google Home is compatible with more products
Google Home works amazingly with Nest products. Google has also poised other companies to sync with its voice feature as it can. Google is yet to announce its partners for Home but it showed a splash screen with many logos at its I/O event this year revealing that WhatsApp, Spotify, Uber, TicketMaster, OpenTablet, Instacart, Pandora, and GrubHub are partnering with Google for its voice platform. It is likely that these firms with work with Google Home.
On the other hand, Amazon Echo is also growing its list of compatible applications including 1-800 Flowers, Uber, and Domino’s Pizza. However, the sheer might of Google has taken the scale in Google Home’s favor.
Google Home offers more customization options
Google Home allows you to change its base to different designs and colors. You can also decide to retain the Apple treatment and keep its sleek look that it comes with. Amazon Echo comes only in one shade. The device does not have the same personalization options that Home offers.
