Page Buddy
Your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is usually using home pages for applications and other features that you use. You should know that your phone has also contextual pages which are shown when an accessory is connected. When the accessory is connected, you will see a change into the favorites tray. The most used applications will be shown and you will be able to use your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 faster. The contextual page will be shown as long as your accessory stays connected.
If you want to modify the pages, you will need to access Menu, Settings, Display and Page buddy. You will have to turn the slider button from Off to On.
Now, you will mark or unmark the options shown. The options that you choose will show a green check mark.
S Pen page: when the S Pen is removed, a contextual page will appear.
Earphones page: when a compatible headset is connected, a contextual page will appear.
Docking page: when connected to a compatible cradle, a contextual page will appear.

Also, you can modify the page and add shortcuts or widgets to the Home screen, but keep in mind that you will not be able to modify the app from the favorites tray.
