We all know some cool things our Android phones can do. However, it turns out they are also other great and unbelievable things our devices can do that many of us don’t know. From incredible launchers to custom ROMs, awesome apps, gesture controls, LED notifications, icon packs & tweaks, there is a lot to keep you happy. Here are things every Android owner should do.
1. Use Google Now on Tap
Google Now on Tap came with Android Marshmallow. The feature provides contextual information of everything on your screen thus letting you find information without searching it manually. To enable Google Now on Tap, Go to

Voice and then switch it on and off. Turn it on to enjoy access to the contextual info on tap.

Android Beam lets you transfer almost anything including media, contacts, apps and even tagged songs in Shazam. You will just need to make sure your NFC-enabled handsets touches another that is enabled too. This is typically done back to back and then hit Send. To check if your smartphone has NFC go to More in your Settings or
Settings >
Connections in case you have a Samsung handset. Turn on either S Beam or Android Beam below the NFC option.
3. Supercharge the Wi-Fi
One thing most people are totally not aware of is that you can make Chrome save your money and time by reducing the data usage. This setting can help you save a lot of data. To enable it, Go to
Chrome > Tap
Settings >
Data Saver and then turn it on.Similarly, you can make your smartphone keep the Wi-Fi on during sleep. To do this, head to
Settings > Tap
Wi-Fi>
Advanced > hit
Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep and then choose
Always.Doing this enables you to download things when the display is off. This also saves your battery life since your smartphone does not need to reconnect to the network every time it wakes up.
4. Turn your recordings and photos into a movie
Smartphones running Android 4.3 Jellybean and up can create short films by editing films and photos you’ve stored on your handset. The process can be a bit convoluted but the outcome is worth exploring. First head over to the Google+ application and enable Auto Backup so that every pic you take is automatically saved on Google+. At the top of ‘Photos’ section, hit on the video camera icon.You can choose whichever videos or photos you would like to turn into a movie, alter the style, theme, and the background. Google+ will do the rest for you.
