Google has offered a basic way of taking a screenshot for whatever happens on your screen. However, Google has experimented a new feature called ‘Partial Screenshots’ on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat. This feature was first spotted by an XDA member known as MrWasdennnoch who saw it tucked away inside an Android Nougat source code. The feature’s name explains its functionality fully. Rather than capturing the entire display, the partial screenshot lets users select their ideal area of the display to capture. This eliminates the need to crop screenshots afterwards in case you want to focus on a particular part of the onscreen project. How to take scrolling screenshot on any Android deviceThere are no details of the feature and when it is expected to be activated by Google. Thanks to Flextrick, a Senior Member on XDA-Developers, who have launched an application that let users who run KitKat 4.1 and above to take partial screenshots.
