We recently reported that the Galaxy S7 Edge is finally receiving the November security patch in Australia and Germany. In less than 48 hours, Samsung is now rolling out the Galaxy S7 November security update for users in the Indian subcontinent.Since the two flagship devices from Samsung are essentially the same, the security update is no different. The latest OTA comes with dozens of security patches and bug fixes from Google, along with a list of 14 crucial fixes to previously highlighted vulnerabilities. However, the Galaxy S7 November security update is less than half the size of the one released for the Galaxy S7 Edge, weighing in at 64.42MB. The latest software update brings up the build number of the Galaxy S7 to G930FXXU1BPJJ.Being an incremental update, it could take a few days until the OTA update reaches all Galaxy S7 devices globally. To check for the latest available update manually simply open Settings->About phone->Software update->Check for updates. You can also keep an eye out for all the latest available Galaxy S7 November security update on our Samsung firmware platform.Do keep us posted on all the improvements and new features you notice in the latest update. However, since the update is just a regular software patch, there may not be any noticeable change or improvement.
