If you’re the owner of Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge on the T-Mobile network, keep your eyes peeled for the latest update. T-Mobile has released a security update based on the update released by Google on July 1, which is being considered as a crucial security patch.The carrier’s official webpages for the Galaxy Note 4 and Note 4 Edge have also been updated to highlight the latest update. The build version of the update for Note 4 is N910TUVU2EPG2 with a file size is 309.9MB, or N910T3UVU2EPG2 with a file size of 281.27MB. The build number may differ based on the Note 4 model version.Whereas, the Note Edge owners should expect the build version N915TUVU2DPG2 at a file size of 328MB. These security updates should roll out across the United States within the week, so make sure you look out for it. To manually check for the update, go to Settings->About phone->Software update->Check for updates. You will only receive a notification about the OTA update if your device is charged more than 50%. Make sure that your Note 4 and Note Edge are fully charged before installing the update.
