Most of the times, the photos you take on your phone are stored just as you'd want them to be, but every now and then a small error creeps in and messes around with your album. One of the things that has happened to me in the past was finding images that had the wrong date - whether it was because of time zone differences or just faulty settings on the phone I used to take the pictures. Whatever the case, I was left searching for last year's vacation pictures which could be anywhere from 2006 to 2015, and combing through tens of thousands of images isn't as fun as it sounds. With a recent update, Google Photos now allows you to quickly change the time and date for your photos in a matter of seconds. Unfortunately, the update hasn't reached our Android phones just yet (here's hoping!) but you can log into photos.google.com and do it from there. Here's how to change the date and time of your images in Google Photos:#1: Open up Google Photos on the web.#2: Click the three-dot menu at the top right of your screen and you'll see the image below. Click on Edit date & time#3: The following menu will appear, allowing you to either shift the date & time of your photo (if you want to just select a different timezone), or select a different date and time altogether.#4: Make the edits you want for the photos you selected. Just like Inbox or Google's reminder system you can choose to have them in the morning, afternoon or evening, or at a specific time (if you absolutely know that you took the photos at 8:45).And that's it! The photos should instantly appear with the new date and time you set. Have you had an issue with the date or time being displayed wrong in Google Photos? If so, does this help?
