LG gave its flagship devices a priority when it came to updating them with the latest Android Marshmallow software, and now users of the AT& T and T-Mobile branded LG G3 handsets will also get a Marshmallow upgrade of their own.LG G3 owners on AT&T can look forward to a Marshmallow update carrying a MRA58K build number which will bring the software version up to D859030k. Additionally the update is expected to include Google’s March 1, 2016 security patch, which will make the LG G3 up to date in terms of security.Some of the notable features that the Marshmallow update will bring include enhanced app permission controls, Doze mode for battery management, adoptable microSD storage, Google Now on Tap, among others.Meanwhile, you can expect the same suite of features from the Marshmallow rolled out to the LG G3 on the T-Mobile network. The OTA update notification should hit your device soon, but in case you are impatient, you can check it out manually by mounting your handset to a PC and launching up LG’s PC companion.
