Samsung has just announced the availability of a brand new firmware developed for the NX500 digital camera, version 1.10 which provides a better Autofocus performance in backlit, low light and under spot light conditions. The camera also has other enhancements.The camera adds Zone AF mode, increased sensor Face Detection area and the AF size to 5 steps. It also features an improved AF accuracy in movie mode and in corners when using the 16 – 50mm PZ lens.The version also implements Memories, High Speed presets, Gorgeous night, Cinematic, adds Selfie as Flipped mode, simplified EXIF data preview and a Continuous AF as a default in Selfie Timer.In recording, Samsung has included Pro mode in movie quality. It also features an increased movie size and quality. It also adds new MF Responsiveness mode that allows individual 4K frames.To apply the firmware, unzip and save the downloadable file into a root folder of a blank memory card, then turn off your computer and insert the memory cardThen go to Menu then to the ‘Settings’ to the ‘Device Information’ then to the ‘Firmware update’ and then to the body firmware and wait for your camera to recognize the new software and then Choose ‘Yes’ at the ‘Body Firmware Upgrade?’ and then allow you handset to apply the update.
