There are rumors on the Internet which are saying that Samsung used a trick to score high at benchmark tests. So there is enough information on the internet which is announcing us that Samsung boosted up the power of the GPU clock of the Galaxy S4 to score higher in benchmarks. AnTuTu, Quadrant and GLBenchmark can be easily tricked by the system and the phone will score higher than it probably scores without using the trick. It seems that the speed of the Exynos chipset is boosted when the benchmark application is started and it is coming back to its original power when the application is closed. The boost is about 10% and this is a very important amount to be added to the existing performances of the device. So, Samsung is creating a big advantage using it. However, we will see how the advantage will be seen on the market as the information leaked and customers can find it all over the world of smartphones. We hope that Samsung will not try this trick again in the future and the potential buyers will not be fooled by a fake benchmark or false information. However, it is the company which looses on image in the end.
