Samsung became the first manufacturer in the industry that is mass producing the last generation, 3 GB LPDDR3 (Low Power Double Data Rate 3) mobile DRAM. The current 2 GB package that is used for mobile devices will be replaced with the highest density mobile memory technology. If is of course a safe assumption to say that they will be used only in flagship phones, perhaps even the Galaxy Note 3.We already have plenty of rumors saying that the Galaxy Note 3 will come with 3 GB of RAM, and the fact that Samsung just started to mass produce it makes it even more veritable. The new 3 GB RAM memory chips will provide lots of benefits such as Full HD video playback and faster multitasking. The new technology has LTE-Advanced support and will enable a lot faster download speeds. Also the new RAM memory will be a lot thinner which will allow the battery to take more space, but also provide faster speeds. The new 3 GB memory chips are taking smartphone experiences a lot closer to PC experiences. We are hoping to see the new memory chips inside the upcoming Galaxy Note 3 and the possibility for this is getting bigger and bigger, especially with Samsung stating that next year most high end smartphones will pack the 3 GB memory chip.
