Once again the domination of Samsung over Android is proved, this time thanks to a study conducted by advertising firm Chitika that shows almost half of the traffic generated by Android users of smartphones and tablets is owned by a Samsung device. As you can see Samsung owns 47.2% of the web traffic, this is 5 times more than the next manufacturer, HTC that only has 9.7%. The Nexus devices from Google manages to sport a 2.5 percentage also. The study also reveals that most of the Samsung traffic comes form the Galaxy S3, last year's flagship. The Galaxy S2 still accounts for 14% of the traffic, with the S4 coming from behind at 9%.These results prove once again that Samsung dominates the Android market and that they may have some leverage against the Google operating system. As a response to this, Google is starting to take advantage of their Motorola acquisition, promoting the upcoming Moto X device that should really be something special.
