Vine is a social media app, owned by Twitter, that allows you to take 6 seconds looping videos that you can share with friends, family and so on. It's like an image sharing app except you share short videos, a nice idea, although users don't seem to like the services offered by the app, especially the lack of shooting videos with the front camera.Coming back to the reason of this post, Vine was updated today and finally received some features that were inexplicably missing until today. The new update adds a search tool for users and hashtags. Besides this you can now share your videos on Facebook and clear the setting cache. The last improvement is referring to camera speed, quality and audio/video synchronization. In other order of ideas, Facebook's Instagram also got updated and now features the ability to record 15 seconds non-looping videos. This is Facebook's move to combat Twitter perhaps, which isn't having much luck with Vine as you will see that the average rating on Google Play is only 2.8. Users mostly complain about the inability to use the front camera, which indeed seems like a big drawback for such an app.If you want to download the latest version of Vine, you can visit their page on Google Play.
