User Experience:

The Anker Soundcore Life Q20 is one of the casual-looking affordable ANC headphones you can get your hands on. The Life Q20 features a durable body but it is brittle at the hinges, so it is advised to use with a little care.

When it comes to comfort, they are comfortable to use with the padded headband and memory foam ear cushions come to aid by improving comfort. The best part is the swiveling earcups which also improve comfort as well as make it portable.

Speaking about the Audio performance, the Life Q20 is loud and clear with very less distortion at higher volumes, but one might notice it if listened carefully. The 40mm dynamic drivers of the Life Q20 produce promising results for the price tag and you wouldn’t regret purchasing them. In addition, the BassUp technology, Dual EQ modes, and Hi-Res compatibility are additional features that extremely improve the audio experience.

Regarding Noise Cancellation, the Life Q20 offers Hybrid Noise Cancellation which is achieved with the help of four noise-canceling microphones and a special digital active noise cancellation algorithm to block out ambient noises.

The company claims that the headphones can block 90% of low- and mid-frequency sounds and the claims can be considered true. As per our findings, these headphones are ideal for public travel, home, and office but if the surroundings get noisier, they would fail to block the ambient noise.

Listening to the audio on these headphones with ANC provides an immersive experience but one shouldn’t be worried about the battery life as it can last for 40 hours on a single charge. You can get extra 20 hours of battery life with the ANC turned off. In case, if there is no battery left you can use the headphones with the AUX cable provided.

The in-built microphone on the Life Q20 is decent and is capable of taking calls whereas the controls are simple and responsive on either side of the earcups. When it comes to charging, the Life Q20 can be charged using the Micro-USB cable which is a cost-cutting measure and the Bluetooth 5 is used for connectivity which has very minimal latency and supports quick connectivity.

Pros & Cons:

Pros
Impressive bass audio, thanks to BassUp technology.
Comfortable and ergonomic design.
Comes with Hi-Res Audio and Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation.
Extraordinary battery life.
Low latency connectivity with quick connect and AUX support.
Cons
The build quality at the hinges is brittle.
Uses outdated Micro-USB for charging.
The microphone for calls could be better.

2. Sony MDRZX110NC - The Best Budget Noise Cancelling Headphones under $50

The Sony MDRZs is an old pair of headphones but can still deliver outstanding performance, making them a decent contender for the best headphones for under 50 dollars. It has one of the best noise cancellations that we’ve ever experienced, and the build is decent. These provide a flat audio profile with great bass that makes them exceptionally good for all podcasts and music sessions. However, if you do end up buying the MDRZ, make sure to tweak the sound profile to get the best experience possible.

These headphones are designed well and connect with a wired connection. We surely miss the wireless functionality, but unlimited playback is also welcomed, thus making it future proof and the impressive noise cancellation works actively to reduce all ambient sounds in your surroundings.

Product Overview:

Features:

  • Features swiveling and padded earcups.
  • Powered with 30mm dynamic drivers featuring a balanced sound profile.
  • Comes with Integrated Active Noise Cancellations.
  • 4ft long cable with 3.5mm jack for connectivity.

User Experience:

The Sony MDRZX110NC is a simple headset with very minimal features, this is due to the affordable price tag and Sony has made a lot of cost-cutting measures to make the product available at this price range.

Talking about the Sony MDRZX110NC, it has a durable plastic body but it is equally brittle when put under a lot of abuse. If the headphones are treated carefully they can last everyday abuse quite easily.

When it comes to comfort, it can be concluded as a mixed opinion with few people would find it comfortable whereas the rest find it extremely uncomfortable as it lacks a padded headband and the ear cushions aren’t great either. For us, the Sony MDRZX110NC is a headphone that can be comfortably used for a few hours but not for prolonged usage.

Speaking about the Audio performance, the Sony MDRZX110NC performs just as one would expect in a Sony headphone at this price range. The sound profile of the headphone is balanced with no exceptional bass, so if you’re a bass lover it isn’t recommended for you. The 30mm dynamic driver does its job quite well by producing clear and loud noise without any distortion.

The Noise Cancellation on the Sony MDRZX110NC can be considered mediocre and performs according to the price range. Considering the price range, these headphones mustn’t be complained about as they can be considered one of the best in their segment. The Sony’s MDRZX110NC ANC is reliable for everyday use but it cannot block sharp noises, so it is ideal for houses, offices, and travel with surroundings that don’t generate sudden and sharp noises.

Similar to the rest of the headphones in the segment, these headphones also feature an in-built mic which is very basic and is reliable for calling only when the environment is less noisy.

Regarding connectivity, the headphones use a 3.5mm jack and there are no issues with connectivity. On the other hand, there are no controls except for an ANC On/Off button which is responsive and easily reachable.

Pros & Cons:

Pros
Lightweight form factor with ergonomic finish.
Features swiveling earcups.
Balanced audio with segment best ANC.
Zero latency connection.
Cons
The build quality isn’t the best in segment.
Poor bass, not ideal for bass lovers.
Lacks padding, resulting in less comfort.
Doesn’t come with a lot of features.

3. HROEENOI JZ02 - The Best Microphone Noise Cancelling Headphones Under $50

This Hroeenoi JZ02 headphone features an average noise-canceling profile with a surprisingly balanced sound signature. It is also suitable for gaming and includes excellent features such as positional accuracy through the “Clarity” audio profile and an exceptional mic for all your audio chat needs. You can also control the sound levels with the built-in buttons, and it also comes with a mute button to mute your mic until it’s needed.

The noise cancellation is decent but not the best. The build quality is solid and is specifically engineered to be used for long hours and also provides a Hi-Fi optimized sound while shutting out most ambient noises with the ANC feature turned on. The design is simple and should cater to most people. However, the build quality could have been better.

  • Impressive battery backup of 40 hours with Type-C charging support.
  • Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity along with AUX support.
  • An environmentally friendly pouch is included in the box.

User Experience:

The HROEENOI JZ02 comes with a design that seems it is inspired by Sony. Though there is a similarity in design, it doesn’t feel like any knock-off product. The HROEENOI JZ02 comes with splendid build quality and can easily withstand everyday abuse with ease.

Regarding comfort, they might not be the best in the segment as they lack enough headband padding to provide utmost comfort. In addition, the ear cups feel bulky but with time you can get used to them. For us, we struggled at the beginning but ended up feeling comfortable with time.

The HROEENOI JZ02 produces audio output that is loud and clear but one might notice minimal distortion when the volume is set to maximum. The 40mm drivers produce loud and clear bass audio with Hi-fi audio compatibility. As per our experience, we conclude HROEENOI JZ02 is a headphone that excels at bass but it isn’t the best sounding in the segment.

Speaking about Noise Cancellation, the HROEENOI JZ02 features dedicated in-built noise-canceling microphones to block out the ambient noise. The company claims that the headphones are capable of blocking 95% of ambient noise and as per our tests; it is true when the noise is stable without sudden and sharp noises. We advise these headphones to use at the library, home, office, and on public transport.

Speaking about the microphone, these headphones might be the best in the segment, as they come with CVC 8.0 Noise Reduction Mic. The receiver can hear the voice without any noise and can also be used in office meetings (Zoom, Teams, etc) without issues.

The battery life of the HROEENOI JZ02 is impressive with 40 hours of battery life and the Type-C cable is included in the box for charging. Even if the battery runs out, the AUX support will save the day. In addition, the controls are placed on either side of the earcups and are easily reachable and respond well.

There are no issues with the Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and you get Quick support functionality along with AUX support. In the box, the user gets an environmentally friendly travel pouch along with the headset, AUX, and Type-C cable which are of decent quality and can be used without any issues.

Pros & Cons:

Pros
Excellent build quality with Impressive bass audio.
Decent ANC, ideal for low and mid-noise frequencies.
Best in segment microphone for calling.
Supports AUX and quick Bluetooth connect support.
Splendid battery life with Type-C charging support.
Cons
The headphones feel bulky on the head.
The headband padding is very minimal.
The audio profile is biased extremely towards bass.

The 40mm drivers boast a rich, detailed audio profile with a proper sound stage and a surround sound experience that makes it perfect for movies with Dolby Surround Sound enabled. Oh, and the battery life is excellent, which means that you could expect it to last you two days without charging issues.

The design is solid, and not only is it engineered explicitly for long hours of use, but it also provides an outstanding noise-canceling feature while optimizing the sound signature to fit with the content. You could also expand the headband to include everyone comfortably, and the build quality it delivers is simply fantastic.

  • Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation with decent noise reduction.
  • Ideal battery life of 30 hours with Micro-USB charging support.
  • Fast Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity along with AUX support.
  • High quality carrying bag is included in the box.

User Experience:

The Wingstime ANC is an extremely durable headphone you can get at this price range. These headphones feature a very simple design choice with a lightweight form factor with large earcups making them ideal for surround sound support.

The comfort level isn’t the best in the segment but with time we got used to it. The main reason behind this discomfort is the slightly padded headband which feels sorrowful when used for prolonged hours of usage. The earcups come with comfortable soft protein earcups and they provide decent isolation due to the over-ear design.

Speaking about the audio experience, the headphones are powered with 40mm drivers featuring Hi-fi audio compatibility. The drivers are loud enough and the bass is exceptional. To our surprise, the surround sound is minimal but present. There is a noticeable distortion when the volume is set to maximum, but it isn’t to complain considering the price tag.

The Wingstime ANC offers Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation with the help of ANC microphones. The ANC is mediocre but it is ideal at this price range with noise cancellation is very reasonable. We have used these headphones with ANC turned ON and they perform well around low and mid-noise frequencies but if the noise is of high frequency, the noise can be heard.

When it comes to battery life, Wingstime ANC gives around 30 hours of battery backup which can be considered be considered decent as the rivals in the segment offer 40 hours of battery backup on a single charge. The Wingstime ANC uses the old Micro-USB charging cable which is a cost-cutting measure and a Type-C cable would have been ideal for charging.

There are no issues with connectivity and similar to most of the headphones in the segment, the Wingstime ANC also uses Bluetooth 5.0 which provides instant and multi-device connectivity. The carry bag included in the box is of high quality and the headphone including its accessories can fit well and be carried around with ease.

Pros & Cons:

Pros
Exceptional build quality.
Decent audio with an audio profile biased towards bass.
Ample Hybrid- ANC with decent noise reduction.
Comes with instant and multi-device connectivity along with AUX.
A high-quality carry bag is included in the box.
Cons
The headphones feel very bulky.
The headband should have been padded more.
The battery life is not up to the mark and the Micro-USB charging is old-school.

5. Falwedi S6 APT-X Headphones - Best APT-X Noise Cancelling Headphones Under $50

The Falwedi S6 headphones deliver a crisp audio profile with average noise cancellation that makes them perfect for flights and travel needs. They also offer excellent battery life with ANC on, and the aptX and aptX HD codec support makes them ideal for low latency gaming and movie streaming. The connectivity is Bluetooth 5.0, and it can also connect with a USB-C cable for fast charging and zero latency gaming.

The active noise cancellation is average and offers minimal noise reduction from the surroundings. The build quality is solid, and the inclusion of USB-C makes this future proof and allows fast charging and compatibility to all USB-C devices. However, the earpads could’ve been better, as if you use these for extend sessions, your ears are bound to get hot and uncomfortable.

  • Features AMS 3415 Active Noise Reduction Technology.
  • Outstanding battery life of 48 hours with Type-C charging support.
  • Reliable AUX connectivity along with Bluetooth 5.0.
  • Comes with two CVC 8.0 microphones for better calling.
  • Responsive buttons which are easy to control and reach.

User Experience:

The Falwedi S6 comes with a sleek design and the build quality is on the positive side. The comfort levels are mediocre as the earcups collect sweat and tend to feel hot upon prolonged hours of usage but in this headphone, the headband padding is done quite well. For us, periodic gaps or quick sessions of usage never bothered with these headphones.

Talking about the audio experience, the headphones are clear with loud audio but similar to other headphones in the segment, a minimal distortion can be felt during higher volumes. The Falwedi S6 features a 40mm driver and it is powerful enough to feel the bass. In addition, we have tested the company’s claim that these headphones come with AptX format decoding support and found out it is true.

Unlike the other headphones, the Falwedi S6 disclosed the ANC technology which is the AMS 3415 Active Noise Reduction Technology which uses Qualcomm QCC3005 and Austrian AMS. We did love the transparency and when we tested the ANC, we felt that these headphones perform arguably better than the rest in its segment. You can use these headphones confidently during your daily commute, office, home, and library without any issues. The microphone is accurate and can be used for calling without any issues, thanks to the dual CVC 8.0 microphones.

When it comes to the battery life, they are outstanding with 48 hours of battery backup with ANC turned and if the ANC isn’t needed you can get more than 80 hours of battery backup making it the best in the segment. The Falwedi has done the cost-cutting by excluding the carry pouch but necessary high-quality AUX and Type-C charging cables are included in the box.

There are no issues with connectivity as the headphones feature Bluetooth 5.0 and even if the battery runs out, plugging the AUX can save the day. The on-ear controls are very responsive and reachable but they should have been denser, so the user can feel them without any issues.

Pros & Cons:

Pros
Stylish design with the impressive build quality.
Balanced audio with AptX support.
One of the segment best performing ANC.
Outstanding battery performance with Type-C charging.
Reliable connectivity and responsive buttons.
Cons
The ear cushions could be more comfortable.
The buttons are very thin and sometimes they merge with the body of the headphone.
The carry pouch isn’t included.

6. SEVIZ 10 - The Best Affordable Noise Cancelling Headphones

These SEVIZ 10 headphones deliver mostly the bass, and it also connects with Bluetooth 5.0. The 45mm are designed to produce bass audio, but the audio profile isn’t for everyone. Though, if you like the extra punch of soundstage you get from games and movies and the large drivers, then, by all means, get this as it is the perfect pair for you.

The hybrid noise cancellation is average as it didn’t block most of the surrounding sound. However, the headband isn’t that comfortable, and the earcups are tight, which makes it hard to keep your ears cool while listening for extended music or podcast sessions.

Hardware Specifications of SEVIZ 10
Driver Unit45mm drivers
Audio technologySeviz tuned Audio.
ConnectivityBluetooth 5, AUX
Noise CancellationHybrid Active Noise Cancellation
Battery Life30 hours of playback – ANC enabled
CompatibilitySupports all devices with 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth connectivity support

Product Overview:

Features:

  • Flashy design choice with decent build quality.
  • Comes with padded headband and earcups with swiveling mechanism.
  • Powered by 45mm drivers with bass audio profile.
  • Features Hybrid Active Noise Reduction Technology.
  • Ample battery life of 30 hours with Micro-USB charging support.
  • Connects using Bluetooth 5.0 technology along with AUX support.

User Experience:

The SEVIZ 10 is an extremely flashy headset with plastic body and metal headband frame. The durability of these headsets can be concluded decent and holding it in hand feels like an affordable one. On the other hand, the comfort is just at the right spot, the padded headband makes it comfortable and the protein swiveling ear earpads are soft but when used for prolonged usage, one could experience heat and sweat. It is advised to take short breaks, clean the earcups and the sweat gathered if you’re looking to use it for prolonged hours.

Speaking about the audio experience, the SEVIZ 10 is loud but the distortion is more noticeable than the rest. The audio profile of these headphones is biased towards bass and if you’re a bass lover you would love these for sure. The 45mm driver is loud enough to experience bass but the overall audio experience is mediocre except for the fact that the bass is so punchy.

Coming to Noise Cancellation, the SEVIZ 10 is an under-performer but considering the device being so affordable it cannot be complained about. As per our testing, we felt that these headphones noise cancellation is decent for its price and is ideal for environments with very low noise frequencies. The dedicated microphone can be used for calls but it picks the noise, so it is advised to talk where the surroundings have very less noise.

The SEVIZ 10 doesn’t come with a lot of on-ear controls except for two buttons to answer and end the calls along with ANC toggle switch, which is quite decent for the price we are paying. When it comes to the battery life, it is poor with 20-30 hours of battery life with Micro-USB cable for charging but as said, the headphones are extremely affordable so we mustn’t expect for a lot of features.

There are no issues with the connectivity and the AUX cable is a welcome addition. In addition, the travel pouch is included in the box which doesn’t come with the best quality but does the job quite efficiently.

Pros & Cons:

Pros
Flashy design with ample build quality.
Bass biased audio profile with loud output.
Decent ANC for an affordable price.
Supports Bluetooth 5.0 and AUX.
The button placement is very unique and is easily reachable.
Comes with a carry pouch.
Cons
The microphone could be better.
The headphones feel bulky.
The flashy design choice might not fit everyone’s likes.

7. Bopmen S40 - Best looking Noise Cancelling headphones under $50

The Bopmen S40 is probably the best-looking noise-canceling headphones you can get 50USD. The headphones are built strong with padded protein earcups, whereas the headband is adjustable with minimal padding.

These headphones are powered by powerful drivers and can produce loud audio without any issues. Speaking of the design, it is over-ear resulting in better isolation when the ANC is turned on. The noise cancellation of the headphones is achieved using noise-canceling microphones. There is a dedicated microphone for taking calls along with on-ear controls.

The Bopmen comes with decent battery life and connects using Bluetooth 5.0 along with AUX support. The users get a carry pouch along with the headphones which makes it easy to carry around.

ConnectivityBluetooth 5, AUX

CompatibilitySupports all devices with 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth connectivity support

Product Overview:

Features:

  • Premium design choice with the excellent build quality.
  • Features protein earcups with a slightly padded headband.
  • Supports Hi-Fi audio compatibility with an in-built microphone.
  • Features Hybrid Active Noise Reduction Technology.
  • Battery life of 16 hours – ANC enabled with Micro-USB charging support.
  • Bluetooth 5.0 technology connectivity along with AUX support.

User Experience:

The Bopmen S40 features a premium design making them feel more expensive. The build quality of these headphones is excellent as the material they are made of withstands daily abuse quite well. Talking about comfort, the Bopmen S40 takes time to get used to. The protein earcups are added advantage but the slightly padded headband might feel uncomfortable when used for prolonged hours.

Speaking about the audio experience, the headphones feature unspecified drivers but they generate loud audio without any issues. There is minimal distortion when the volume is set to maximum and the audio profile is balanced. In addition, these headphones are Hi-Fi audio compatible. For us, the audio felt decent and we enjoyed the music with ANC turned on.

The noise cancellation of these headphones is not the best where the noise frequency is too high. As per our testing, these headphones did struggle during sudden and high-pitched sounds. When compared with the rest of the headphones in the segment they struggle to stay in the top 5’s.

The microphone of the headphone is decent enough to take calls but underperforms if there is a lot of noise. When it comes to on-ear controls, the buttons could be a little denser for the button press feel.

The most disappointing part of these headphones is the battery life of 40 hours but with the ANC, they downscale to 14-16 hours which is extremely low when compared with the rivals, as their products can easily last 25-30 hours of playback with noise cancelation enabled with ease. In addition, the elimination of Type-C charging is a serious drawback.

There are no noticeable issues with connectivity and the AUX support works quite well. The carry pouch included in the box isn’t that great and Bopmen seriously needs to stop cost cutting or reduce the price range of the headphone.

To conclude, the Bopmen S40 may look attractive to the eye, but it does come with a few drawbacks which are completely unacceptable considering rivals providing better features at this price range.

Pros & Cons:

Pros
Best in segment design choice with the super build quality.
Balanced audio output with Hi-Fi audio compatibility.
Ample ANC, ideal for medium noise frequencies.
Comes with both Bluetooth 5.0 and AUX connectivity.
Cons
Worst battery life and lacks Type-C charging support.
Poor accessories.

8. INFURTURE H1 - Best Allrounder Noise Cancelling Headphones under $50

The INFURTURE H1 is a classy product with outstanding durability and excellent design choice. INFURTURE H1 comes with memory foam ear cushions along with slightly padded headband. The headband can be adjusted similar to the other headphones listed in the compilation and the welcome addition is the swiveling earcups.

These headphones are power packed with 40mm custom drivers and the audio profile is biased towards the bass. For calls, the INFURTURE H1 saves the day with the built-in CVC8.0 microphone. INFURTURE H1comes with Hybrid noise cancellation and speaking about the battery, they can last for 40 hours with ANC enabled. With Type-C fast charging, Bluetooth 5.0, and AUX support, these headphones are the best bang for the buck.

Product Overview:

Features:

  • Classy design choice with outstanding durability.
  • Slightly padded headband with memory foam ear cushions.
  • Custom 40mm driver headphones with a bass audio profile.
  • Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation with ample noise reduction.
  • Comes with a built-in CVC8.0 microphone for calls.
  • Impressive battery life of 40 hours with Type-C charging support.
  • Reliable Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity along with AUX connectivity.

User Experience:

The INFURTURE H1 is probably the classiest product you can get your hands on at this price range. The design is very minimalistic and mimics some premium headphones just the Bopmen. Speaking about durability, the INFURTURE H1 has outstanding durability and can withstand everyday abuse with ease.

There are complaints from us regarding the comfort except for the slightly padded headband. The memory foam ear cushions are extremely comfortable and can be used for prolonged hours without any issues. It might gather a little amount of sweat but it is negligible from the amount of comfort the ear cushions provide.

The INFURTURE H1is powered by a custom 40mm driver and the audio is biased towards the bass. The best part of the headphones is that they have refined the distortion at maximum volume and now the distortion is almost negligible. The custom 40mm drivers excel at producing outstanding bass and high-fidelity audio. Even if the user is not a bass lover, one would appreciate how well it sounds.

Speaking about the noise cancellation, the noise reduction isn’t as great in the segment but it would stand as a runner if compared. The noise cancellation is ideal if the noise frequency is between low and medium; if the frequency is high, they struggle at blocking ambient noise. As per our observation, the INFURTURE H1 does a great job during daily commutes, public travel, home, office, and library but on traffic, it struggles a bit.

The INFURTURE made sure to check all the boxes, as the headphone comes with a built-in CVC8.0 microphone for calling and it is quite decent as advertised. Regarding battery life, there are no complaints and the Type-C fast charging is a bonus. For connectivity, these headphones use Bluetooth 5.0 and if the battery runs out, the AUX cable saves the day. User Experience:

The KVIDIO ANC headphones are mostly similar to the INFUTURE H1 but with few advantages and disadvantages. KVIDIO ANC headphones don’t disappoint us with their durability as they can withstand everyday abuse quite easily without any issues. The main drawback one would experience with the KVIDIO ANC is the level of comfort as they take time to get habituated. The minimal padding and the standard earcups don’t perform well enough to provide comfort.

When it comes to the audio experience, the KVIDIO ANC headphones excel just like the INFUTURE H1 in terms of bass, but the distortion at maximum volumes isn’t as refined.

The 40mm drivers produce excellent punch to the audio with the bass and unlike the sound profile of INFUTURE H1, it is completely biased towards the bass and only bass lovers would find these interesting.

When it comes to Noise cancellation, the KVIDIO ANC headphones have an up hand as it blocks the ambient noises better than the INFUTURE H1. As per our tests, the KVIDIO ANC is capable of blocking ambient noises that are low and medium and some levels of higher noise, but if the noise is sudden, sharp, and high pitched you can easily hear it.

The KVIDIO ANC headphones come with a standard microphone and it isn’t as clear as INFUTURE H1 but if you’re taking calls in a calmer environment they are good to go. The best selling part about these headphones is the battery life as it has an enormous battery backup of 80 hours but when tested with ANC turned on, they drop to 30-50 hours. Similar to the INFUTURE H1, these headphones also come with Type-C fast charging.

For connectivity, the KVIDIO ANC headphones use Bluetooth 5.0 and they support quick and multi-connectivity. The on-ear controls are very slim, so reaching them is a challenging task while using them until you get used to them. Speaking about the carry pouch, it is very premium just like the WingsTime ANC headphones.

Pros & Cons:

Pros
Cool design choice with the marvelous build quality and swiveling earcups.
Bass audio profile with outstanding ANC.
Magnificent battery life and charging speeds.
Extremely reliable modes of connectivity.
Premium carry bag included in the box.
Cons
Poor headband padding.
The microphone quality could be better.
Only for bass lovers.
The buttons could be denser.

Product Overview:

Features:

  • Durable form factor with stylish design choice.
  • Slightly padded headband and pressure-free ear cushions.
  • Powered by 45mm driver headphones with bass audio profile.
  • Ample Noise Cancellation with decent level of noise reduction.
  • 30 hours of battery life with Type-C charging support.
  • Multi-device Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity along with AUX support.

User Experience:

The MOVSSOU E7 is a durable headphone with an extremely stylish design choice. The durability of these headphones is quite exceptional and can withstand everyday abuse without any issues. The comfort on the other hand isn’t on the bright side as the headband padding is very minimal.

As per the company claims, the headphones feature pressure-free ear cushions and even though they look like the standard ones, they are great at comfort with a very minimal sweat gathering.

Speaking about the audio experience, they are loud and clear with impressive bass. As per our observation, most of the headphones in this price range come with bass audio profiles and the MOVSSOU E7 also comes with the same bass-rich audio profile. The 45mm drivers of the headphones have enough power to give the punch and surprisingly the noise at maximum volume is decently refined.

Regarding ANC, the noise reduction levels are decent but not magnificent. One can expect the headphones to block low and medium-level noise frequencies. As per our observation, the headphones struggled at the highest level of medium noise frequency and the noise isolation of the earcups isn’t the best either.

When it comes to microphone, the MOVSSOU E7 comes with the standard one similar to the KVIDIO ANC headphones and if you’re taking calls in calm environments, they perform just fine. The 30-hour battery backup is quite decent and as it comes with Type-C charging, the charging speeds are fast and one can enjoy the playback by charging for a few minutes.

The MOVSSOU E7 connects using Bluetooth 5.0 and if you’re running out of battery, the AUX will save the day. There are very few buttons on the headphone with basic controls and for us, the headphones feel a little overpriced. To add weight to our claim, the headphones don’t come with a carry pouch which is quite common in its segment.

Pros & Cons:

Pros
Extremely stylish with strong build quality.
Ample audio and ANC performance, but the bass is magnificent.
Manageable battery life but with Type-C charging.
Handy AUX with reliable Bluetooth 5.0.
Cons
Very minimal headband padding.
The microphone could have been better.
No accessories are included in the box, except for cables.

NOTE – Very few to none - headphones microphone work when connected via an AUX, so it is advised to take calls only when the headset is connected via Bluetooth.

Verdict

Dialing back a few years, premium quality headphones alone cost hundreds of dollars, let alone the ones which boasted premium features such as active noise cancelation. All thanks to the growing competition and an open market that allows lesser-known brands to find recognition online, some of the best noise cancelling headphones are available for cheap.

While we would personally recommend you to stick to a budget of at least $100 when picking up a pair of ANC headphones, there is plenty of goodness even half a Benjamin can get you. Albeit, the lower cost doing means that manufacturers have to cut corners on the overall build quality and materials used in manufacturing the headphones, such as using ABS plastic instead of metallic finish like the premium brands do.

However, that is the trade-off you have to make to enjoy a high-quality audio feature on a budget listening device. Which affordable noise cancellation headphones under 50 dollars are you going to pick up for your surreal audio experience from the list above?

How did we select the best noise cancelling headphones under 50 USD?

The most important factor for buying a great pair of noise-canceling headphones is the sound quality and noise isolation feature. However, it would be best to consider other features and aspects to make the best choice, and what should you expect from a pair of ANC headphones under $50?

Audio Quality

Remember that these are $50 headsets, so you can’t expect the fantastic sound quality that expensive headphones provide. However, you could expect a decent sound quality with excellent bass and balanced mids and lows.

Comfort and Build Quality

Comfort is subjective according to all users as it depends on the head size and shape. However, you could expect an excellent build quality that would last the test of time and decent comfort levels for average head sizes.

Noise Cancellation

You could expect to see decent noise cancellation from both Active and Hybrid variants. However, control over the amount of noise cancellation is something we only see on expensive pairs of headphones.

Battery Life

The average battery life you should expect from a noise cancellation pair of headphones is around 20 hours, and anything more is just the cherry on the cake.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of noise cancellation should I consider?

Active Noise Cancellation is the best option to get as it reduces the most amount of sound from the surrounding. However, Hybrid and Feedback Noise Cancellation options are also decent and can provide a comparable result with Active Noise Cancellation. Though the best noise cancelling headphones under 50 dollars can also be adjusted depending on your needs, Hybrid and Feedback are stuck with the built-in settings.

What’s the difference between ANC in mics and ANC in headphones?

ANC in mics helps you reduce echo and background noise which goes to different people. This enables you to sound more precise and better than a regular mic. However, ANC in headphones helps you mitigate background noise and focus on only the essential sounds or music you’re listening to.

Do noise-cancelling headphones block all sound?

No, noise-cancelling headphones do not block all sound, especially at this budget price point. You could expect some reduction, and it differs from headphones to headphones, but you would never be able to find something completely silent.
