A few users may have claimed back in January that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update was rolled out to their LG G3, until now, the official roll out seemed to have never reached the wider scale. The Verizon mobile network has today began its public push out of the Marshmallow software to all its LG G3, LG G4 and HTC One M9 handsets. As expected, all the basic features of the Android 6.0 operating system such as the Doze Mode, enhanced app permissions, and Google Now on Tap are available and accounted for in all the three smartphones. Although the update has been said to significantly boost the standby time on Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 variants, as to how much of a difference the update makes in the battery life department remains to be seen, but there should at least be some improvements noticeable. As usual, the roll out will be a little delayed as it is expected to happen in phases over the next few weeks. So users should wait patiently before they see the update notification hit their handsets. Though there is no assurance, you can manually check for the availability of the update by heading into the device's Settings.Have you received the Marshmallow update on your Verizon branded LG G3, LG G4 and HTC One M9? Let us know about the improvements in the comments below.
