Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is no longer a mirage for Samsung Captivate Glide users on AT&T, because tomorrow it's supposed to be the big day for the device. However, this is not the first time that Samsung announced this update for the Captivate Glide mobile, as it was also announced in April. In September there was an attempt to finally release the update, but after several reported issues with many devices, they decided to take the update down and revise it.The update will be available on Samsung's website starting with November 10, and it's going to be available for manual updates, as OTA is not working for this device and update version. This is not as cool as getting an OTA update for a Galaxy S3 or S2, but still, you can at least enjoy the benefits.Android 4.0 brings a lot of new features and improvements to the Captivate Glide, such as speed performance, Face Unlock, multi-taking improvements etc. If you an owner of a Samsung Captivate Glide, than you should be grateful for this update, unless you are considering upgrading your phone, in which case i can recommend Samsung Galaxy S3 or even Nexus 4.
