After OnePlus availed the firmware build YOG4PAS2QL in the month of October, it has now issued the OnePlus One with another cumulative Cyanogen operating system 12.1 software update. This new release adds the software model to YOG4PAS3JL.Once you get installing this OTA that comes with a 21.8 weight, you get to enjoy the latest fixes for bugs as well as important security updates for your OPO. If your region is yet to be graced with the update, here are two guiding options that you can follow depending on your phone’s root status.Installing Cyanogen OS 12.1 build YOG4PAS3JL on non-rooted OnePlus One devicesCopy the files downloaded to the storage of your phone. Switch off your device, reboot into recovery mode. Now switch on your phone while pressing concomitantly on Volume Down and Power buttons till phone responds after which the Recovery Screen appears. Tap on ‘APPLY UPDATE’. Hit on the option ‘Choose from internal storage’ on the proceeding screen then select storage device 0. Locate the OTA file you’ve downloaded, select it and tap on ‘YES’ to commence installation. After installation is complete, tap on Restart.Installing Cyanogen OS 12 build YOG4PAS3JL on rooted OnePlus One devices with TWRP recoveryReboot your device into Recovery mode then select install in the TWRP recovery.
