Good news to users of the HTC One M8 on the T-Mobile carrier. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is finally being pushed out to th One M8 handset beginning today, Monday, March 7. HTC's Mo Versi took to Twitter stating that the Over The Air update is scheduled to start rolling out right after the weekend is over, so you should look out for the update notification at the start of Monday morning.
Owners of the HTC One M8 will see Marshmallow bring goodies such as the Doze battery management feature, Google Now On Tap which offers suggestions for searches along with added contextual information depending on the content that is currently on your screen. A set of new Emoji will also be made accessible if you are yet to get the Tetra upgrade not to mention the revamped app permission controls that allow you to select the app permissions you want to grant per an app's request.
The process of rolling out Marshmallow has been relatively slow, so its nice to see another device snag up the update. Currently a huge majority of Android users are still running on Lollipop or KitKat.
