T-Mobile is currently in the process of releasing the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to Galaxy S6 Edge+. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ which also happens to be the largest variant of the Galaxy S6 series, should at any moment now be receiving the over-the-air update notification, according to a post by T-Mobile on the device’s support page.
This latest update will bring the Galaxy S6 Edge+ software version up to a G928TUVU2DPD1 build number and is set to embody all the known Android Marshmallow features, as well as a new collection of emojis.
The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update will be a major one, as it will take up a massive 1.34GB of storage space, thus ensure that you are prepared in terms of a strong Wi-Fi connection, as well as adequate battery for the entire update download process.
If you waiting for the OTA update notification is not an option for you, then simply go into your device’s Settings >> About device >> Software updates to check for the update manually. Alternatively, you could turn to using Samsung Smart Switch along with your PC.
