Sony Mobile may not be known for their mainstream handsets, but they are loyal and committed to their fanbase. The company has even taken a different approach with rolling out Android Marshmallow updates, by launching public Beta programs.

The latest Beta version of Android 6.0 will be complemented with a 23.5.A.1.203 build number. According to Sony’s Xperia Blog, the update bundles an impressive 400 bug fixes along with system improvements. One notable inclusion will be a feature that allows moving all the installed apps on a device to an inserted microSD card.

In addition, it introduces a fix for the Unknown call/private number bug, which is related to the contact list saved on the device, as well as a fix to the Calendar app compatibility issue.

QUICK NOTE: Free firmware downloads are made possible thanks in part to OVH Hosting & Dedicated Servers – Updato's #1 choice for hosting and storage solutions! Show your support and check 'em out.

The Beta is eligible to users registered on the Beta program and who own the Sony Xperia Z2 (D6503), Sony Xperia Z3 (D6603) and the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803).
