Whilst most manufacturers are shying from releasing major Android OS updates, Sony has really stood out from the crowd as witnessed from its recent developments. Only last month, the Marshmallow Beta was introduced and made available to some of its much older handsets. And to the delight of its Xperia Z2, Z3 and the Z3 Compact users, they also got the opportunity to get a taste of Android's latest operating system. The bad news is that, the Beta appeared to have had some bugs that caused significant issues, as Sony has now promised that the next release will include changes that will address the bugs. This will be particularly for those already running the update, as the next Marshmallow Beta version will handle bugs found with the Double tap to wake function, which doesn't work a 100% of the time, along with issues related with audio that arise whenever Bluetooth is used.Owners of the Xperia Z2 and the Z3 devices running the Android Marshmallow Beta, should keep an eye out for the upcoming update.
