Moto G (3rd gen) users in Europe have been waiting quite a while for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to reach them since December last year, and it looks like finally the wait is over, as the update arrives on their continent. Those who use the device have today began seeing a notification for the OTA update.Motorola initially started pushing out its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to customers in US and Canada regions at the end of last year. Later on in January, the Marshmallow update to India followed. It is worth noting that the update version appears to a bit different in comparison to the one that has been rolled out to the other third generation Moto G smartphones so far. This latest update version carries a 24.41.33.en.EU whereas the update that pushed out to India and North America features the model number 24.11.25.en.US. It has not yet been revealed what the exact differences between the two varying update versions are, but the newer number may suggest a few bug fixes or atleast several regional tweaks. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update should begin spreading out to the Moto G 2015 devices in Europe in the coming week or so, thus users are advised to look out for the OTA notification.
